As Seen on TV

Claims from TV and YouTube, taken seriously enough to measure. Each episode gets a real simulator, a check written down before the run that is allowed to fail, and a one-line verdict.

The rules

Three kinds of verdict

Every verdict is one of three kinds. There is no fourth. A claim that points at nothing measurable gets named, not judged.

The claim holds

The effect is there, and for the reason given.

Real effect, different reason

Something real is going on, but the explanation attached to it is wrong.

Nothing there

The effect does not show up once the instrument can be trusted.

How an episode moves: queued→preregistered→run→verdict→published

Fair to the people on screen. The shows and hosts cited here are real. We describe their claims neutrally, with the episode’s title, date and a link, and without their branding or transcript text. Verdicts are about claims, never about people. When a claim points at something real, the verdict says so.

HI-1 · The Honest Spiral

2-D wave simulator

The question. Does a Kozyrev mirror do anything?

Real effect, different reason A spiral does twist the waves that escape it, by ordinary reflection. In equilibrium the twist is zero, and the old +19.05 was an integrator artifact. The mechanism is textbook prior art.

HI-11 · Time reflection, the real 'bending time'

2-D wave simulator

The question. The episode cites the 2023 CUNY time-reflection experiment. What does it actually show?

Real effect, different reason Time reflection is real and matches the textbook formulas to within 0.25 %: a medium switched uniformly in time reverses a signal's order and shifts its frequency, with the switch supplying the energy. Nothing reaches a time before its cause, so it is not bending time or time travel.

HI-15 · Star 'torsion' at true positions

history

The question. Did Kozyrev detect stars at their calculated present and future positions?

Nothing there The published star detections agree with the parallaxes of their day, including ones since revised by 2-5 sigma, and miss the modern positions by 13-27 arcsec. The agreement is with the calculation, not with the sky.

12 episodes are planned. Nothing in this section is a result, and each gate is a draft until its preregistration is committed. The coming-soon page has every one in full.

HI-2 · The sound windmill

2-D wave simulatorest. 2 h

The question. Can a Kozyrev mirror be a motor as a rotor?

The claim, as presented. A question put to the lab: if a Kozyrev mirror twists waves, can it turn itself when it is free to rotate?

Draft gate, not yet preregistered. Case (c), diffuse equal-temperature noise, must come out zero within error, or the model is broken. Reaction torque is computed as −(angular-momentum flux), τ = ℓP/ω.

Also on the coming-soon page: 9 ideas on the shelf, and 4 claims from the shows that no instrument can reach.

The episode registry, the preregistrations and the results live in the lab’s notebook, which is not public yet. This page is rendered from a copy of the registry, so it can only show a result the notebook already holds. Back to the lab →
